KENLEY COLLINS’ SPRING ‘10 LINE SOARS ABOVE THE REST

The Stand Out Designer is Back With Bold Refreshing New Looks That Show Her Charismatic Personality and Tell the Story of a Woman With a Mind of Her Own!

After placing third on Bravo’s Project Runway, Kenley’s unique designs left people craving her creative style. Her work for the past year has ranged from custom bridal and party dresses, to her now trendy feather head pieces that are being mimicked and sold world-wide. After doing custom design for a year, Kenley is ready to debut her Spring ’10 collection inspired by Amelia Earhart.

Kenley tells Global Fashion Scout why she chose Amelia Earhart as her inspiration; “I was immediately fascinated by her since I read about her in school. She was an adventurous, inspired woman who did what she loved, even in the 30’s when it was hard for women to do what was usually up to the men. I thought, what better time then now, should we be inspired by a hopeful, brave woman who made history during a depression?”

Collins will be presenting her Spring ’10 collection August 31st at Magic in Vegas. There will be some pleasant surprises as she will be expanding her vintage party dress aesthetic into separates, sportswear, gowns, fabulous accessories and by popular demand; menswear! Beautiful light weight silks, prints and colors that are in a world of their own, and joyous unexpected pop elements, will take viewers on an adventurous flight across the Atlantic Ocean.
